Filey is a haven where generations of families return each year. The majestic facade of The Crescent is complemented by spectacular gardens and parks, which have secured Filey Town In Bloom awards on many occasions.
This view of the bay for the viewpoint at the South end of the Crescent was photographed in August 2009. You can see the kiddies paddling pool, the impressive buildings of the Crescent (many built in the 1890's) and the White Lodge Hotel, which seems to get just that little closer to the sea each time we visit.....
